New Year’s Scavenger hunt for kids

This New Years might look a little different but if life has taught me anything its that there will always be ups and downs – whether we are prepared or not! We may not be at the finish line yet, but we have collectively gone through a huge year, so let’s pat ourselves on the back (I know I will be for getting through home-schooling) and let’s party… socially distanced style of course!

Here’s a great New Year’s Eve activity for kids that requires hardly any prep at all- our New Year’s Eve Scavenger Hunt! Just print out our colourful FREE pintable’s, grab a pencil and you’re ready to go. Your children will have so much fun trying to find these 12 items around your home or you could go further and hide the actual items to add to a New Year’s Eve Activity Bag!

My kids always love scavenger hunts (like our yearly Easter Egg Hunts and our 2020 Halloween Hunt) so this year we decided to make another fun scavenger hunt printable and this time for New Year’s Eve 2021! Whether you’re doing a virtual party or welcoming the new year quietly at home with a New Year’s Eve celebration on the television, your kids will have fun searching for all the celebration-themed items on the printable.

All you need to do is print out the free scavenger hunt printable and grab a pencil or pen and you’re good to go!

You could even go further by making this more personal and find 12 pictures for each month of the year and have fun remembering everything that you did over the last year and make a new family tradition to repeat every year!

Follow our step by step below or catch our walkthrough on YouTube.

We have done the hard work for you so all you need to do is to download our FREE printables to have to perfect New Years Scavenger Hunt!

YOUR NEW YEARS SORTED!

New Year’s Eve is a special time to reflect upon the past year and to celebrate all of the amazing goals and dreams that you have for the upcoming year. For us, New Year’s Eve is always family time, filled with champagne, party poppers and LOTS of fun crafts and activities to keep us busy all night long!

It’s one of my favourite holidays to celebrate with my family and I love spending this time sharing our favourite memories and planning our new year together.

Even though we can’t all be together this year we can still take time to celebrate another year on this planet. And I am excited to share with you all our ideas for the day!
